I must say that it was pretty awesome that I got my first top 3 placement of my tri career at the Heritage Eagleman Triathlon.  There was a pretty significant catch to my second place age group finish though.   I got second place in the 35 - 39 year old WOMEN'S category!   I checked this morning and I still didn't have lady parts so unfortunately I'll have to relinquish my placing.   Needless to say I'm really glad that we didn't stick around after the race when the awards were given out.   I'm sure the moment they announced my name to hand out the hardware for the winners it would have been, hands down, one of the most embarrassing moments of the year for me.
